Early-Stage Researcher at Firalis and PhD Candidate at Medizinische Fakultät Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg
Gisela Pattarone is an early-stage researcher (ESR14) at Firalis and a PhD candidate at Medizinische Fakultät Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg based in Germany. She’s from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated in Medicine in University of Buenos Aires and MSc in University of Freiburg. She developed her skills in translational medicine, cell biology and machine learning through her work experience at the Laboratory Zentrum für Translationale Zellforschung (ZTZ) of Germany. Now then, she is working on identify effective biomarkers to build novel predictive models for vasculitis diseases in the framework of HELICAL program. Furthermore, refining statistical algorithms that incorporate patient data with the goal of differentiating vasculitis from clinical mimics and to develop a prototype web-based user interface are in her schedule.
